Delightful Dowser QUIRK(S): Though on the outside Chantara may not look very watery, she is filled to the brim with water affinities and magic. She is drawn to water like a moth to flame. "Fluidity and discontinuity are central to the reality in which we live."

Chantara's draw to water started before she even hatched from her shell. An unexpected rocking near the end of the nest sent her rolling down the sand and into the water... where her shell finally cracked, as if she had been waiting for the touch of wetness. When she shrugged out of the shards and opened her eyes to look around, she instantly understood everything about the fluidic medium around her. Most do not take Chantara for a water dragon at first glance, unless they can see her eyes. Her body has none of the colors usually associated with any form of water. Her soft, sandy colors, though... they look lovely when paired with the backdrop of whatever form of water she is currently frolicking in or around. The snapper can sense water anywhere, at any time. Even in the lands that seem to be devoid of moisture, Chantara can find the element that calls to her. For this reason, she has been offered lucrative deals to lead expeditions into more deserted, foreign lands to try to find new trade routes or settlements. Occasionally she has even accepted; her lighthearted personality and simple joy in the company and her abilities make her a wonderful traveling companion. Home, however, is always Chaotic Daydreams. Here she is understood and valued for herself, not just her talent. No matter how far she may roam, Chantara will always come back.
