Kanta is a playful fellow for the most part, one of his favorite activities is decorating the lairs in the clan during the Elemental Flight Holidays, his use of color and the way the crystals he uses reflect and refract light always show magnificent displays. Even the grouchiest of the researchers cannot deny his skill in calculating where to place each one to illuminate the area through the day and provide luminescent stones and plants to guide through the night.

He does not often speak of his scale coloration, except to his mate, Zerrah. They were both plunged into a magical well of unknown nature which caused the rippling colors to appear on them. When he has been pressed about it he has stated that they were the lucky ones. He has not found another who has escaped from that place unscathed. It is presumed that the well in question must be either in Shadow or Plague territory, but with neither of them opening up to the researchers, further details have not been come by thus far.
Someday they'll find it, the rainbow connection...
