Student of Magic and Alchemy "Alchemagical research benefits everyone!" Lightning tech. The very same technology that our spies use.. It's outdated. If only they would listen to me.. I could improve every aspect of their underground data management and systems! They just won't have it.. no visitors! Well.. hm.. what if I created a demonstration. A machine of my own design.. A super advanced, alchemagical, metal dragon golem! It could be powered by a simple lightning runestone and a storm spell! It could store all their information and remember what agents are allowed to view files! It's perfect! After slaving away at this machine for months.. it's proved harder than I could have imagined.. but to help this clan AND my science reputation at the same time? Worth it.. definitely. Now to just get a demonstration ready for those stiff spies.. They loved it! Absolutely loved it! They still wouldn't let me into the Underdark, but they appreciated my hard work.. told me they would "consider my offer" of fixing all their machines.. and even better.. they promised to make sure my skill was heard about! I couldn't be more pleased! This is a much bigger success than I was anticipating. Now.. I need to come up with another alchemagical invention to impress the clan leader herself! ...Time to get brainstorming! Well.. Sombra sure knows what she doesn't want.. but not what she does.. Why does this have to be so hard.. It's like making a pitch to a stubborn person who didn't ask for a pitch.. wait.. that is what this is.. Oh well. I will find something you love.. this I swear! I wanted to create a more advanced alchemical golem.. One that could learn, and feel, and think for itself. I didn't expect to create one accidentally! I created.. by chance.. what I believe is a fully autonomous alchemagical artifact intelligence! I must get to work on a shell and attempt to help it while learning everything I can! I never expected to make such an advanced jump so early! I will call my creation 'Glitch' and help it fit in with such a strange and unfamiliar clan and world. |
