Biography

Fully cognizant of the fact that his birth was a complete accident, and one his parents are not apt to make ever again, Vaelim contented himself to a quiet, isolated childhood. With no siblings or peers to interact with, he learned to amuse himself through exploration and quiet contemplation. As an adult, he continues this behavior, distancing himself from the rest of the clan as he slowly but steadily investigates the surrounding territories. However, he holds nothing against the rest of the clan, and is more than happy to make himself useful by mapping out the areas he visits and sending his findings back home with the help of his familiar.

Occasionally he encounters Shujaa out in the wastes, if his journey happens to bring him back closer to the border, but usually he is so far beyond his clan's normal territory that he doesn't see any of his comrades for months on end. Part of him is always on the lookout for Wander, hoping to catch a glimpse of the legendary dragon, but as of yet he's had no luck. Since foreign clans can get rather particular about their borders, he typically poses as a harmless pilgrim whenever he happens to cross paths with strangers. He is, however, a relatively accomplished mage and is perfectly capable of defending himself against most enemies.
