Six shots ring out, followed by metallic clattering as the expended shells strike the cold ground below. A swirl of smoke at the barrel of the weapon is all that remains, as a thud soon breaks the silence left in the wake of the strikes. In a swirl of dark fabric, the perpetrator smirks to himself and walks off, his back turned upon the bloodstained scene.

This was a common sight in the work of a bounty hunter, and it was a life that Jesse had known since he was young. Instead of spending days underneath the bright sun with other boys his age, he was unafraid to associate with those older, and more often than not, they were mildly suspicious at best and obviously dangerous at worst. But he was never afraid, for his expert marksmanship was his protection, and a part of the reputation and identity that he proudly toted with him.

Unfortunately, he was eventually caught red-handed during one of his many illicit activities, and was thus tossed in prison. However, he was given a choice between remaining there, or joining an organization in exchange for his freedom. Having selected the latter, he now works as a resourceful and rightfully feared individual, perhaps secretly seeking repentance for the past.
