Hello, traveller.

My name is Cirin. It's pronounced as See-Rin.

It's an unusual name, no? Well, I'm sure you have noticed that the dragons of this lair (apart from the Unnames ready to find new clans and caretakers) are named after gemstones, jewels, or their colors. This is a rather whimsical clan.

I won't complain much because despite her dizziness, caretaker looks after us well. Especially me. She does quite pamper me because I am her 'dream Pearlcatcher with iridescent and shimmer'. It's all good I suppose - just as well to have a caretaker who is extremely fond of me. It fits in with my plans perfectly, and she won't question me going off alone at times. Call me sly or cunning if you must, but I can't quite compare to Jin the Ridgeback's... uniqueness.

I might not eat meat or seafood, but I still enjoy hunting greatly. It's the thrill of the chase, I suppose. The blue Pearlcatcher beside me? That's just Chalcee. I do know of her affections towards me and I do think she's quite adorable, but someone like her shouldn't be involved with a Pearlcatcher like me. She had a nearly fatal encounter in the forest while looking for me once; I won't get any closer to her, or she might get hurt again. No, I don't like her.
