Biography

Tequemitan - the humanist
kind | calm | -

Even though he appears young, he is old, how old is his secret.
He is very calm, stony most of the time, wearing an almost serene smile most of the time. He is a "humanist", valuing every life, so he sees violence as last resort. It takes a lot to enrage him, but once angered, it's difficult to restrain him. Only Valadorius can keep him in check then, often with the help of Shar'kul Rem, who's berserker strength comes in handy at those times.
He loathes injustice and is fiercely protective about Layriss ever since he found her in an abandoned lair. Anyone nearing Layriss has to get past him first and he watches over her almost all the time. In this sense he would have been an amazing guardian dragon.
He slowly realizes that Yinians interest in Layriss is earnest and honest, so he reluctantly hands over the care of her.
His style is what you could call "old fashioned", the glasses are fake, he just wears them, because he thinks they suit him and it makes him look harmless.
This consideration and his support of every life has earned him the post of the clans head diplomat and ambassador. By giving Tequemitan this post Alatariel rid herself of one of the biggest rivals for the title as head of the clan.
Tequemitan's mate Kithereth also acts as ambassador for the clan.
