Biography

Mate: Lara
Best Friend(s): Rune, Duskfall, Gaedra, Daria
Familiar: Fury
Companion: Gonzalez
Apprentice: Daedra
Role: Clan Leader, Former Coliseum Manager

Reaper is one of the Clan’s founders and leaders. Like most Mirrors, he’s stern, stoic, and rather frightening (especially when he fights.) Despite his appearance though, Reaper is one of the friendliest faces in the Clan. While Reaper used to be a mighty warrior, he has since retired and now works in the Clan as a Coliseum Manager. When Reaper has the time, he teaches young Dragons fighting techniques.

Reaper met his apprentice Daedra during one of his lectures. Daedra was new to the Clan at the time, and was looking for someone to teach him the ways of the warrior. Reaper, looking for an opportunity to fight once more, agreed to teach Daedra everything he knew. After Reaper and Daedra developed a father-son bond, Reaper gave Daedra the opportunity to train others by making him a Combat Instructor. Reaper still continues his lectures, but he always makes special time to train with his favorite apprentice.

Reaper was born in a small Plague Clan led by a group of particularly vicious Mirrors. Being found as an unhatched Nature egg, he was raised without parents, but was trained by the chief himself. Reaper was a born hunter with natural skill and talent. He was known throughout the Clan as one of the most promising hunters. The chief’s son told Reaper that he would soon fight his father for the position of chief, and when he would win, he would make Reaper his second. Sometime after that exchange, Reaper and the chief’s son went hunting together and bit off more than they could chew. Reaper and his companion were attacked by a group of Serthis Alchemists. As they were fighting the hoard off, One of them snuck around behind the young Dragons and tried to poison Reaper. Stopping the attack, the chief’s son stepped in front of Reaper, and kept him from taking the blow. Reaper was able to fight the rest of them off while his companion succumbed to the fatal poison. Reaper, ashamed, took his partner’s body back. Outraged by his son’s weakness, the chief wanted Reaper to fight him for the chance to be chief. Reaper never wanted to be chief and felt ashamed for taking his friends' place. Unable to bear his guilt, Reaper left without accepting the challenge. No one came looking for him.
Alone and ashamed, Reaper looked for a new home. He traveled for days looking for a place to call his own. Just when he thought he would die from starvation, he wandered straight into the Gladekeeper’s Domain. He drank from the streams and followed the stench of freshly picked strawberries until he stumbled upon a humming Tundra creating a den for herself. Nervously, he walked up to her and offered his assistance for some food. The young Tundra agreed and shared her strawberries with him. Reaper would choke down the disgusting red fruit and push logs for her. The two quickly bonded over the scenery, and the fact that they were both Nature Dragons not born in the Gladekeeper’s Domain. The young Tundra, named Lara, offered him a home in her den once it was finished. Reaper politely declined at first but stuck around to help her finish it. Months later, the den was finished and Reaper’s feelings for Lara had grown. Convinced disaster would follow him, he decided not to act on his feelings until Lara convinced him otherwise. She told Reaper how much she had grown to love him and begged him to stay with her not as her second, but as her mate. Reaper couldn’t say no to the love of his life, and agreed to stay with her always.

Reaper and Lara were out on a stroll once when they stumbled upon two bickering Puff’s. Reaper halted them, stepping in front of Lara, while Fury did the same for his mate. Reaper and Fury began readying fighting stances when both their mates stepped in front of them. While Lara and Sweetie made fast friends, Reaper and Fury continued their standoff. Lara and Sweetie commanded their mates to stand down while they discussed living arrangements. While Lara and Sweetie chatted about the Clan, Reaper and Fury continued their standoff. Reaper and Fury began discussing fighting stances, their mates, and past homes. Suddenly, the two were laughing and getting along as if they had been friends for years. Lara and Sweetie went to collect their mates and when they found them, Reaper and Fury told the ladies how much they would enjoy living together in the Clan. Lara and Sweetie just laughed at their mates and walked back to the Clan leaving the two friends confused but rather joyful.
