When considering a lair cleaning, first I open a Notepad file and, without looking at my lair, write down the names of every dragon that I can remember.

Then I go check my lair. Did I forget anyone?

If yes, then they are considered for removal. I ask myself a few more questions:
- Why did I forget about that dragon? (and if I had not looked in my lair, would I have ever remembered them?)
- Would I miss that dragon if they were gone?
- Do I value that dragon more than I value a free lair slot?
- If I sell or exalt that dragon, is there a high likelihood that I will regret doing so?

With those questions answered, I can then decide whether or not to purge the dragon.
