Treasurer
Mamona is The Focal Company's trusted treasurer, responsible for keeping the clan's precious money supplies in order and controlling the clan's budget. She got the job quite simply out of pure nepotism; she's Oberon's cousin and the Fae wanted to give his favoured relative a lucrative and powerful position within the clan. Despite the dubious circumstances in which she obtained her job, Mamona has developed into a competent and frugal treasurer, and much to Oberon's dismay she doesn't put up with his love for spending money on pretty but useless items.She's extremely serious when it comes to money, and has a heavy dislike for dragons who seem to treat it as something to just throw away, which is why she resents Bluff and his gambling stall so much, she considers him a blight on the clan for his encouragement towards dragons to spend their treasure on rigged slot machines and weird card games. Her dedication to her job has bought Mamona many allies in the clan, as even Titania is willing to forgive the fact that she's Oberon's cousin due to her skill and dexterity when it comes to money. She's a trusted member of the clan's hierarchy and dragons frequently come to her for financial advice. Outside of work Mamona is much more relaxed and pretty cheerful, she gets along well with Greed (probably because the two dragons both have a habit of hoarding treasure) and the two are often found conversing about the clan's financial status in Chai's tea shop. Though she's liked well enough by her clan mates, nobody except Greed can stand to talk to her for long, Mamona can't hold a full conversation without turning the topic back to finance in some way. It's both amusing and frustrating. |
