Sinopa is a beacon of hope for the clan of Kaiana, a chance to return to what they've known for the majority of their lives, and in some cases, their whole lives. Plants flourish in her presence, and the local fauna are attracted to her; a pair of snakes and a frog are almost always present on or around her, companions she's had since hatching. Much of her time as an adolescent is spent learning the ways of the clan, receiving blessings from Gladekeeper--bestowed by various members of the clan--and also understanding her role. It's all quite stressful, being raised as a sacrifice for the clan, but as of yet, she hasn't cracked under the pressure.

Change comes naturally to her, and though some part of her wants to think of the clan as selfish, she finds beauty in each of the members of the clan. She can't quite view the clan as family as they revere her too much despite her never doing a thing in her life to earn that kind of respect, but for their sake, she puts on her brave face. The autumn sprite, Chenoa, is her closest friend, and has told her of many stories of sacrifice that make her feel a bit better about her situation. The Skydancer also often catches onto her mood despite her content mask.
