Kyros 'Kiaran' Vasuman Historian known as Kiaran Long Lost Fire Drake Warlord Former Commander of Scorch Legion Kiaran, as he is now, was not born like other dragons but created in a final act of desperation. His conscious was formed from a pocket of untapped magic as it was bound to a being formally known as Kyros Vasuman. ~ Kyros Vasuman was the infamous fire drake warlord of old. With an empire stretching through the Ashfall Waste to the beyond. The Scorch Legion whereas unstoppable and vast as the fires that feed them, only faltering when confronted by beings blessed or bound to the gods themselves. A growing frustration with failure at the hands of the blessed, Vasuman turned to the Ashen Council for guidance, for which his request for power was rejected. Fearing that bestowing their brother with untold power would lead him to turn on those he was sworn to protect. Rejection from the Ashen Council, his very brothers and sisters, tore at Vasuman. He saw it as a failure on his part to preserve the trust his kin needed from him. As such Vasuman burdened with the duty to protect his home and secure new lands sought out ever self-endangering solutions. This never quenched thirst lead him to a young powerful mage with the promises of conquering energy and binding thus bestowing god like abilities. In a final stand Vasuman was bound to Kiaran's magical entity, for a time the processes granted Vasuman the power of gods. The warlord wielding power beyond that of his strongest opponent push back rival troops and laying waste to the civilizations behind them. The death and destruction that lay before the fire drake begin to haunt him in the form of the energy bound to him. What had started as a small voice of reason and concern now kept him awake at night, questioning his every act. The louder the voice grew the less Vasuman was able to control his own actions. The warlord fell to the newly generated mind who sought to stop his reign of death by taking control of his body and locking his mind away. Whatever battles Vasuman had experienced before paled to prepare him for the internal conflict he faced with Kiaran. Days melted into years as he watched his life unfold before him, while he remained trapped and unable to respond. As time passed he gradually gave into the force that ran his being until falling into a kind of sleep. Now in control Kiaran spend his time recording history, feeling the best us of power was in guarding dragonkind’s most valuable knowledge. More time than either can recall past, lairs and mates came and went. Out of necessity Kiaran altered their physical forum to the dragon seen today from a once great drake. This allowed them parents, kin and most importantly camouflage. For as the drake's power faded, so to did his defenses against rivals. ~ Vasuman cannot recall for sure when he first became aware of the residence of the Passerem Clan nor his job of historian among them, but what he can recall was the day he awoke to find his body was once again in his control. Kiaran had said nothing to him, but a feeling told him that his re-gained control was not by chance. What had caused the spirit to change its mind was unclear to Vasuman, though the appearance of Sirion a powerful mage of the Shadow Guard and once sworn rival has made him question what other powerful beings may be rising and what has caused this awakening.
