Gerlinde

Gerlinde (ger-lyn-day) is derived from the Germanic element "spear" combined with "soft" or "tender".

Status: Nest Sitter of Ópal Hylinn

Bio: Gerlinde traveled from the Tangled Wood to the Sea of a Thousand Currents when she was a young hatchling, and quickly developed a brother-sister type of relationship with Tichaona. She is in charge of watching the nests in Ópal Hylinn, making sure they are healthy and protected. Much like Tiamat, she is protective of her clan, though she tends to be more outspoken about it, and does not care for any sorts of immature nonsense from fully grown dragons.

Gerlinde is a more art-inclined dragon. When she nest sits, and when the calmer hatchlings come to visit her, she is usually the one to teach them about art; drawing lines in the sand, making pictures with seaweed, pointing out shapes in the clouds, et cetera. Her love of collecting fish scales to decorate the nest with shows her artsy side, along with the fact that when participating in clan discussions, she'd be one of the dragons with the more creative, out of the box ideas that she throws out as they come

She does have a bit more of a tricky side to her, coming from the Shadow Flight and all, and sometimes be known to steal little objects from other lairs to use to decorate her clan's lair, though she always returns them when asked or caught ghoul other dragons.

Gerlinde tends to stray away from plants and prefers juicier morsels, such as Striped Biters, and enjoys collecting fish scales to decorate the nests with.
