Honestly, it would probably be getting my job. I love the freedom and adventure of flying all over Sornieth to deliver messages and letters. It's a true joy.

Once I was kidnapped. That sucked.

When Juniper turned back around, there was no limo. A smiling spiral had just landed in front of her, beaming.

"Hey, sorry to startle you. I just can't stand the confined sensation of riding in those things. Hope you don't mind..."

"No, not at all. It was getting a bit monotonous, actually. Nice to get a break."

The dragon took a gentle step forward, offering a claw. "Well, I'm Ril. It's great to finally meet you."

They chatted quietly for a while, and Juniper discovered that they shared the same taste in books. Finally he had to go, and he pressed a gentle kiss to her cheek. "One more, Juni. You can make it."

"Ah, my precious nerds. You are all so bright and intelegent, and even though you may not be the smoothest dragons," she laughed and winked at Meyer, "you are all precious to me. I am stoked to get to know you all more!"

"Thanks." Ril touched his claw to Juniper's cheek. "It means a lot."

A nod came from Ril, eyes wide.

"I agree. He honestly terrifies me..."

"We have to SING?" Ril stepped back, staring at Juniper in shock. They had just arrived at their date - karaoke. "Oh heck naw. I don't sing. I'm sorry, Juni, but I-"

The first part of the date went rather smoothly. Everyone did their best to sing, though Juniper was shocked at the outcome. Turned out, the most hesitant dragon of the group had the most beautiful voice.

"Ril! That was...that was amazing..." Juni's eyes were wide as she shook her head. "I was not expecting that...woah... just woah..."

The male spiral ducked his head and blushed bashfully. "Thanks..."

"Alright, well, I think it's safe to say that Ril won the singing part... "

Juniper had never seen anyone quite so excited about books as Meyer, Ril, and Blitz. The treo had been settled in a corner nerding out about novels for close to an hour. She shook her head in laughter, trying to push herself into the conversation.

"- you have no idea! I honestly thought I would die when I got to that reveal!"

"What are you talking about?"

Blitz' head snapped up, shock evident in his expression. "What? You...seriously? It's only the best clan book ever written!"

Ril pushed a rather large tome towards her. "It's called Hazzleblazzlekerblazzleflam: A Memoir. It's about a big clan in shadow - and they are INSANE! You have to read it, the final arc is just stunning! I almost DIED at the end, and-"

"Woah! Don't spoil it!" Taking the book in her claws, Juniper tried to suppress a giggle at the boys nerding out. "I'm asuming you'll be reading from this?"

"Oh yes."

Ril glanced up at the young female, offering a gentle smile. "You've got this."

"One hundred percent."

Juniper stared at the rose for another few seconds before walking forward and outstretching the rose. "Ril. Will you take this rose?"

"I would be honored."

The two exchanged some quiet words and then the spiral made his way to join the other eight progressing bachelors.
