BrokenGlass

BrokenGlass hatched into a Coatl family of artists. Her parents are both renowned painters, her older sister a poet. BrokenGlass picked up architecture when she was extremely young, her little brother keeping up the tradition with carving. She grew up in a loving community of druidic Nature dragons, her parents the only foreigners in the village. Her sister, however, did not feel so loved, and she departed from the place as soon as she was old enough. BrokenGlass still writes to and gets letters from her on a weekly basis.
When she was barely grown, BrokenGlass’s brother died eating seafood contaminated with a vicious disease that turns one’s internal organs inside out. It crushed the family, which was still reeling from their eldest daughter’s departure. BrokenGlass turned to her art to comfort her, and it worked very well.
She also wanted to distance herself from the location of her brother’s death, so she moved one village west. She found a community desperate for her services as an an architect, and she was more than happy to oblige.
She has never been a very mobile dragon. She moves little and speaks less, emerging from her den only to retrieve food and supplies. This suits her well. She is not quite happy yet, but she is getting there. Slowly.
