How closely have you kept an eye on your cards? Very closely, I hope?

Well, look again nonetheless, because Merric is faster than you think.

He’s always been that way, quick as lighting, sharp as a tack. He’s too clever for his own good in more ways than one, and knows how to lose money as quickly as he earns it. He also knows how to cheat his way out of a loss and into a shining profit, given just long enough to put together a scheme. You’re only in trouble if you get caught, which makes for his cardinal rule: never get caught.

But that’s easier said than done, and lately, Merric’s had his fair share of narrow escapes. He keeps running into a sharp as sly as he is, someone who counts cards instinctively and turns them slyly. He knows there are new cards entering the deck, knows someone is altering the odds. Who it is, though, is beyond his knowledge.

So he’d like to issue a challenge, when he isn’t busy fleeing gambler’s dens and glittering casinos. He’d like to meet his lucky opponent face to face, and play some cards.

May the best cheater win.
