Tribu is a fool.. he thinks he can outdo me as my apprentice, and he keeps staring at the new clan leader.. As if he was good enough to mate with a clan leader of any kind. I still don't understand this leadership system though.. They waited on a child who fits some prophetic vision, then give it leadership? These clan dragons are insane.

My mate Galactica seems confident with this new clan leader.. She's one ofthe biggest supporters of this "prophecy" and I think she started it.. I'm just waiting for this dumb ritual where they ask the baby what it's name is.. as if they expect her to respond with this "prophesied name" which.. we aren't allowed to say because it might influence her decision subconsciously.. ugh what nonsense.

I changed my mind about this prophecy leader.. She is unbelievably easy to intimidate.. Which means easy to manipulate too. Of course Galactica doesn't approve.. She'd have my head if she found out about my manipulation, but it's definitely worth it. I mated with Galactica to get closer to a position of power.. soon I won't have to worry about her at all.

-Curses! She's getting bolder.. standing up to me even when others aren't around.. Perhaps her new feathered friends are to blame. I'll have to pay them a visit.

After my little talk with that weakling mud wallowing Hana.. I got a visit of my own. Eterna Fabricante came to me and made a proposal. Her argument was strong and I look forward to working with her.

Amiga came to me recently.. suggesting we join forces.. for until now I hadn't considered it. Amiga.. despite being the mother, wants no power.. just revenge and freedom. I informed her that I was creating a team against the leader and she told me something amazing. She had an idea to clot the leader's reputation and her ability to lead with one stone.. or should I say egg... I already have a bad image around here.. so fathering offspring of Sombra wouldn't be so bad. I will convince our glorious leader tomorrow.. and leave her to watch the eggs alone. Chances are they'll die and she will be left weak from watching them alone.. but that's her price to pay.

Things didn't go as planned.. not only did she seem to want to have hatchlings with me.. Which I cannot fathom why! But she also got a ton of assistance caring for them. How I didn't see the other mothers and fathers around here wanting to help keep her hatchlings healthy is an oversight I must not make again. I need some other way to break her down, and I cannot be the direct problem.. Not always. She will evict me if I become to big a threat.. but right now she wants me where she can see me and that is fine.. that is wise. Keep your enemies close Sombra.. they will stab your back when you least expect it.

-Eterna Fabricante.. has assured me that this is a very good thing for us.. I asked why.. She told me that if Sombra doesn't take flight soon, her wings will never be strong enough to fly. I had not thought of this but she is correct.. Sombra hasn't flown and she's getting old enough that her wings will decay.. clearly she hasn't noticed this either but.. a grounded Nocturn.. isn't nearly as effective. I will try and keep her on the ground.. this new goal is a much better one and WILL weaken her greatly!

-A big concern.. one of my hatchlings is partly blind.. I cannot have my blood being soiled by such an imperfection in a child! This child must be disposed of or removed from my sight. I will destroy the hatchling.. but I cannot be seen doing so.

The hatchling was rescued by outsiders.. clearly she read through me and knew I meant to dispose of the hatchling.. But outsiders..? Taking MY defect.. I will deny any connection to the child.. and if anyone tries to prove me wrong.. the child will be mine. Mine to eliminate that is...

I found another opportunity to dethrone that claimless weakling that calls herself Sombra! A new dragon entered the Ash District, going by La Reina... Her name is Zargosa, and she wants to turn the Ash District against the main clan! At first I thought the plan was insane, how could one even accomplish such a feat? But she started gaining support, and somehow it started making sense! The more support she gained, the faster her army grew! She's a force Sombra should fear, and I want to join her. Eterna Fabricante calls me a fool and warned against the plan... but her plans clearly don't allign with my own. She's too slow... what is she waiting for? Sombra to grow old? A fools strategy is waiting... Sombra waits... and look at where that leaves her. Pathetic, stressed, weak, and overwhelmed by the odds. Zargosa is the type of leader I want to follow. I will join her, and Eterna can figure out what she wants in her own time.

It... was all going so well... we had Sombra on the cliff's edge. Turns out she was hiding a secret weapon... the coward! Can't even fight her own battles! Now she locks Zargosa and I up in a prison, one she crafted for us specifically... Eterna and Amiga aren't locked up with us, because they stayed neutral... well good for them... Maybe they will eventually take this clan down and release us. We would both make fine leaders and allies to this cursed clan. Zargosa has been very quiet... I wonder what she's thinking... what she's planning... I will support her again, when the time is right. Zargosa will see my value. I am an asset.
