"Everyone has a price."

Tessen grew up in a small clan in the Sundial Terrace. He loved both his parents dearly but took the most after his mother, Partis. She was a merchant and taught Tessen the art of making a trade which would give him the most profit. Tessen learned all he could from her before bidding her and his father goodbye
and heading off to journey and further hone his skills.

Tessen travelled to the Trading Post, briefly interning under Swipp before finally breaking off, rejoining his clan before moving again to set up a shop of his own. He settled down with the Hotaru Clan, not wanting to move too far from his childhood home, and set up a shop of his own. The goods he sells are typically either purchased from outside the clan and sold at profit or are sold at a small commissioner's fee from local artisans. He enjoys his work and occasionally travels to his birth clan to tell his parents what he has been doing.

One day, as he was journeying back from visiting his mother, Tessen stumbled across a skydancer practicing in the woods. Captivated by her smooth, graceful movements, he watched her for what felt like hours before announcing his presence and introducing himself. He spent the next few months courting her before she finally accepted his third marriage proposal. Tessen arranged a small ceremony even though he would have been fine with a bigger one, knowing his bride's preference for smaller affairs.

When Lantana had their first nest, Tessen was ecstatic. While awkward around children in general, Tessen loves to watch Lantana care for them, helping out however he can. With their daughter, Lacie, Tessen carried on the family tradition, teaching her business management. She went on to run a bar, her financial acuity making Tessen proud. He can't wait to see what his grandchildren accomplish.

A very confident and gregarious dragon, Tessen perfectly balanced his wife's quieter personality. He gently pushes her to expand her comfort zone and is supportive of her occasional dance recitals in front of others, careful not to push her too far.

Hobbies: Tessen likes to play chess in his free time, a game he played with his father. With his head for strategy, he is surprisingly good at the game, although maybe not in the realm of strategists like Amaros.
