Biography
Name means "lost." (WIP, what even is English anymore, ahh)
Perduto wandered for days, lost and confused. His surroundings were unfamiliar and frightening, and when the night came and engulfed the woods in her dark embrace, his heart filled with fear. The shadows had reclaimed everything, blinding his eyes and soul. He ran and flew, fast as the wind that had blessed his wings, in a vain attempt to escape his fears.
After countless hours, he fell on the ground, exhausted. The last thing he saw before falling unconscious was a series of eerie silhouettes moving toward him. His beak opened in a silent protest, but he was too tired to emit a sound.
When he woke up, Perduto was a different dragon. Most of his memories were gone, but so were his fear and distress. The Woods seemed different; more welcoming and beautiful. When he turned around, he met the gentle gaze of a couple of Dryads.
Perhaps Perduto will never know why the Dryads had welcomed him, why Nature had reclaimed him, a dragon of another Element, but it simply doesn't matter to him. He is their Knight now, bound to walk by their side and defend the mysterious forest that has gifted him a new life.
