Artist 		Eddard is a scholar who often works as a healer for the clan. Healing magic is his specialty, so he assists sick and wounded dragons whenever the need arises. He puts his heart what he does, and his kind nature becomes evident when he takes care of those in need.

Despite what the stereotype says about Pearlcatchers, he's neither arrogant nor vain; the only typical trait of his species Eddard inherited is a distinct lack of courage. Despite being used to travel and, when necessary, follow warriors around, he tends to avoid confrontations and grow nervous when left alone by his companions.

When not working as a healer, Eddard loves continuing his studies. True to his Arcane heritage, he's a curious and knowledge-hungry dragon. He often leaves the liar to research on the field, but he rarely moves without the company of someone he trusts. Since his passion for research seldom distracts him, his travel companion have to look after him to prevent him from getting in troubles.

Akkyls, Valentino and the Priestess are some of his closest acquaintances. Eddard is especially fond of Akkyls: the Spiral visits him frequently to be mended, and he often asks her to follow him. He considers her his most trustworthy friend.

The journals where he writes his observations and thoughts are his most beloved treasure--after his pearl, that is. Being a decent artist, Eddard fills them with sketches. While most of the drawings depict plants, animals, and natural phenomena, he secretly enjoys sketching for fun; portraits of dragons and familiars he loves are his favorite.
