The proud Wildclaw Rigel studies the magic of the stars themselves. His wings glimmer like the night sky, shifting with the constellations over time. He studies fluctuations intensely, afraid that what he is seeing may be the distant influence of something like the Shade.

As the original founder of the Magistry order, he is well-regarded if not always well-liked by his peers. Rigel is one of the few members of the order to take the occasional student under his wing, albeit rarely. He is private in his work, but not impolite, and willing to patiently explain his findings to any he deems completely trustworthy.
