His mind soared as he watched the coming future through his pearl. His Mother travelled through the past and his Father walked through visions, but Prophet, he was the guardian of the true way to see. His body had stopped growing and he was forever to be hatchling-sized due to the drain his powers caused upon his body. All of his energy went into powering the sight. He muttered to himself as he traversed the pathways of the spirit realm, walking in his spirit form, with his Light Spirit loyally by his side in both the spirit realm and the physical realm.

His abilities allowed him to traverse the whole of a dragon’s time line; past, present and their future that may be. His mind whirled. This dragon’s future would be very tragic unless they made certain decisions very, very soon. He shook his head. Thank goodness the poor thing’s mother was worried and approached him to find out the paths that her only surviving child must walk that would allow them to thrive. He finished his walk through the various decisions the dragon could make and drew the rune to return him to his physical form.

His pained gasp was his client’s first indication that he had returned from the spirit realm. She fluttered over his tiny body, her mothering instincts going haywire at the site of a ‘hatchling’ being in distress. She helped him to sit up, and Prophet weakly reached for his pearl. The client silently handed it to him, then gave him a glass of water, which he gratefully chugged. Prophet finished his water, then asked the client to sit down, as some of what he had to tell her may be distressing. He told her of what was to come, then showed her the 4 vital points where she MUST convince her son to change his decision and take another path. If she was not able to convince him, especially at the first and most critical point, there was no hope and she would lose her son within the year. Prophet wished her the best of luck, and the client left, tears still slipping from her eyes. Prophet felt older than ever after this consultation. He hated the jobs where he really felt sympathy for the clients, as he knew all he could do is tell them what they could do to try to make the situation better. Prophet closed his eyes and sent a prayer to the Eleven asking them to watch over the mother as she tried to save her son.
