I know how the clan feels about my mother.
She's the best scout in our clan, but not everyone's totally trustin' of her anymore. I guess it's just what she did to Yahaloma, and I don't blame everyone for thinkin' she went too far there.

...I dunno. Maybe they were. But you didn't have to do what you did. I know that much. You were so much bigger and stronger than them! You coulda easily shoved them off me!
I guess...I've got a lot of stuff on my mind. Sometimes it's hard, gettin' dirty looks 'cause your mama's known for bein' a bit too rough when she fights. I s'pose I just gotta dance and sing more, tell all the stories I can in order to get my mind off this mess.
I really do love them, Ma. I'm glad they stayed, even after what happened to them.
Maybe someday, you and Lolo'll finally get along. We'll be a big ol' family, all of us, and you'll get to see some grandkids someday...It'll be great, Ma. Really.
