Biography

The Harbinger

"I am not here to tear the clan apart. Quite the opposite actually. I'm here to move it forward and make it stronger."

Rename to Void and remove from sales.
She's old, but not as old as Azurefire. The being possessing the body, however, is much older than either of them. No one really knows who the real Void is, because the entity has control of the body all the time. She becomes an ill omen, a sign that things are about to change, sometimes drastically.

She is order. Azure is chaos. They will not get along at all.

My excuse to be a little bad, but in a good way

AcNLi24.png WIP Wordy Words go here. Lots of them most likely.

Another super rough WIP... it came, I wrote... it's painfully sloppy

"...does it matter that you do not like me?" Void asked of Azurefire. The matron growled in response. "Touchy," Void teased. She took a seat across from the other dragoness, so she could show off the snide smile that rested firmly on her lips. "Like it or not you will get used to it--

"I think not!" Azure hissed. "I will not humor your existence in my territory!" The guardian stood with the intention of forcefully evicting Void from her office, from her territory entirely, but Void would put an end to that.

It took only a twist of an arm and a trip of the legs to pin Azurefire against the desk with a claw pressed into her throat. Azure struggled for less than a moment before being able to maneuver herself free of her hold. Void was stunned, to say the least. Very few could resist her charm and even fewer could wiggle from her grip. She wasn't given enough time to stand there and gawk, however. Azure came swinging in her direction and her hit landed right against her jaw.

Void went flying backwards, crashed through the door of the study, and tumbled down the stairs. Thankfully, no one was at the office that late at night, so she harmed no one on her trip to the lower level of the building. Unfortunately, there was no one in the building, meaning it was just her and Azurefire and right now she didn't feel that was a good thing. Clearly, she had underestimated the Matron of the Azurenight Clan.

"I will not tolerate your meddling with my clan or my family--

Void looked up at the Guardian charging down the stairs, claws ready and teeth bore. She laughed. In the face of her beating and the irate matron, she laughed. "Is that what this is about?" she asked. Void struggled to her feet and managed up and a few steps away as Azurefire reached the ground floor. "I did the boy a service! You lied to him-- She was punched again and it stopped her truth, but not her own strike. She punched Azurefire in the throat then in the chest as she tumbled backwards. "He had the right to know the truth and you, his own mother, kept him from it!"

Azurefire tumbled to a knee, giving Void a chance to kick her in the stomach. The force of the attack bounced the dragoness up a few of the stairs. Though, it did not slow the matron down. Instead, she used the stairs to kick off from and launched herself at Void. Void, once again, was caught off and ended up on her back with Azurefire issuing blow after blow to her head and neck. "You know nothing of my actions, creature!" Again, Void was stunned. Not only was this dragoness immune to her magics, an equal match for her physically, but she also knew the fact she wasn't a dragon, or at least not entirely. "You have no right to judge me on how I raise my cubs."

Void whipped her tail around Azurefire's neck, once again tossing the guardian away from her. The assault was halted, but she was still dazed from it, which slowed her drastically. "What are you!?"

"What are you!?" Azurefire returned as she collected herself from the previous assault. "You strut into my territory and think you can impose yourself upon my clan. Picking at things best left untouched and turning drakes and beasts against each other." Void hesitated, stepping away from Azurefire when she moved towards her. "Oh, I know about what you are doing. Did you not think I'd see it? This is my territory!"

Void narrowly avoided Azurefire when she lurched for her. "You know nothing of my intentions-- Azure roared, her green eyes taking on a sheen of red that caused Void to tremble. "Leave my home!" the matron demanded.

"I will not! I am meant to be here and I will stay." Void managed to catch the angry guardian on her next pass and tossed her through a door adjacent to them. "Whether you like it or not, I'm here to stay!"

"Over my dead body!" Azure hissed as she removed herself from the debris to face Void again. She lunged again and collided with Void. The two locked arm in arm, pushing and pulling and biting at each other's neck. This contest of force and wills would have ended in a stalemate had someone not walked into the offices and distracted Void.

"Azure are yo-- What!?" Halaza walked into the building with Nahele at her side, both of them stunned to find their Matron bleeding and fighting off another dragon. Shortly there after Void went flying into another office. She was able to free herself from the destroyed room in time to catch Nahele calling for reinforcements. It was time to leave. She offered a hiss to the charging dragoness' before vanishing from their sight.

Void whisked herself out of the building and onto a roof across the way, where she settled just in time to see Myaac and Talon go rushing into the rescue. "That was unexpected," she said, though it wasn't to herself.

"You didn't need to harass Azure like that and you shouldn't have underestimated her." A small, two legged creature, aglow with a silver white light, took a casual seat next to Void. "You are not here to destroy the clan, Void."

Void looked over to Azurenight, then back to the activity going on before them. "It's not my intention to destroy the clan, Spirit. You know this. I am a harbinger not a destroyer." Azurenight hummed a note of understanding, but said nothing else. Silence settled between them for a short time as they watched the goings on in the court yard. Void would eventually speak up to break the still. "How is the boy?"

"He is upset," Azurenight said softly, "but he will overcome his grief."

"Good. His siblings?"

"Same condition," Azurenight concluded.

"What do you need of me?" Void finally asked, getting down to the point of the Spirit's visit with her.

"Nothing for now. I merely wish to see if you were all right. Azure can be very rough."

Void snorted, rubbing at her jaw. "Yes, I did notice that."

Azurenight nodded as she stood. "The focus is on the cubs. Their story is in progress. For now rest and wait until you are needed again." With that the Spirit vanished, leaving Void to her own devices within the clan.
