The firstborn daughter and oldest child of Ourorro and Perrix, Ertes surprisingly did not take the separation of her parents hard. She could easily see her parents still cared about one another deeply and she knew they loved her no matter what. When barely grown, Ertes decided that she needed to serve the Gladekeeper in a more direct capacity. While sad, Ourorro and Perrix supported her decision nonetheless. She left Wuduweard to join the Gladekeeper's forces.

Ertes served with the Gladekeeper for many years. She was often on the front lines of battles and saw many terrible and wondrous things. Her loyalty did not waiver nor did she lose her belief that serving was important, but when Ertes was promoted to captain, she decided she needed to retire. She had simply seen and experienced too much. For her own health, she needed to leave. She was given permission to return home to Wuduweard, though it took her a while to find her traveling birth clan again.

Now that Ertes is back with Wuduweard, she has taken on the job of preparing other potential recruits for serving the Gladekeeper. She trains recruits, teaching them how to fight, strategize and utilize magic (though only to a small degree as Ertes is no great mage), and gives them directions when they leave. Since returning, she has noticed strange spectral figures often lurking in the corner of her eyes. Ertes hasn't been able to pin down what these things are though she's troubled by nightmares of lost comrades.
