Nero is technically the First of the Kryss.
In his travels he met Lute and came to love her. The beautiful, kindhearted Mute. He took great pains to understand her.
For a time Nero had gone, and those whom he had befriended thought that he had simply left, taking the sweet Lute's heart with him...
But Nero returned! In his claws a stunning necklace which he presented to Lute to express his love. Accepted by her, and her Father he had to be kept a secret. But it was not long before Raissa had found out.
Dels had battled Raissa to allow Nero to remain, and in winning took control not only of the fate of Nero, first of the Kryss, but of all those who would find asylum with the Shada Septem.
Nero reports a lot of general affairs to Dels, and with Lute, Lyre and Ramseys see to the everyday troubles present in the Ghost Shadows of the Clan.
