______ Among dragons there is a condition that some are born with that limits scale growth. These dragons have few to no scales and are quite vulnerable with exposed skin. In some places of Sornieth many of these dragons will gather together to make a clan. Unfortunately this means the gene is almost guaranteed to be passed down to their offspring, but it does also offer a bit of safety in numbers as well as understanding.

______ And sometimes young dragons will leave their clans to see the world and to meet other dragons and species. And not all dragons are accepting of their scaleless cousins. Calling them monsters and less flattering names. Ask kale and if she’s in the mood she might tell u or chase u off if she’s not. The only ones she’s told about her complete past is her mate, the king, queen, and the royal adviser.
