Raen came across the land of Iridesia one day while hunting, spotting the Queen and Warden Feyr sparring with the King Fane in the ruins of the kingdom. The two of them, he thought, were a beautiful pair to behold, and the way they fought was like a flowing river. He decided then and there that he was going to approach them. When he did, he was met with approval from both dragons, catching both sets of eyes for his beautiful raven coat and the glinting golden feathers. He became consort to the Queen almost immediately, and found himself enjoying the company of both Fane and Feyr as he was accepted into their relationship as an equal.

Raen is a loyal knight and a better friend, and it shows in the way he holds himself around everyone. He loves just as fiercely as he fights, and is a wonderful example of a leader to his peers. The twin clerics especially look up to him for his affinity in light magic, though he uses it less for healing and more for protecting his fellows.
