Where this spiral dragon came from is a mystery, and how it is a light dragon found itself suddenly in the Tangled Wood is also a mystery. As Alistair seems to lack the ability to speak, these things seem as though they will remain a mystery. The spiral is not a permanent fixture in the clan, at least in that he will often disappear for long periods only to show up again at random. His disappearances have grown shorter over time but he still seems too wary of the clan as a whole to actually join them, or even get too close to their lair. He seems to spend most of his time on the outskirts watching the dragons fo the Clan Misfortune go about their business.

Alistair is shy and cautious, but ever curious. He seems to enjoy observing things around him with great interest but grows uncertain when other things draw too close. He responds to others trying to approach him by fleeing or hiding, though he also let out a hiss or a sound meant to be threatening...it's not really, he's generally not the most threatening creature around. If given some time and with patience, he will aproach others and can become quite curious of them. He doesn't seem to understand the concept of personal space, however. 		Rat Tangle
