Biography

The 2 greatest weapons in the Karma Clan aren't made of wood, stone, steel. The greatest weapons are the pair of Tet and Drake. Yes, they are lethal to the Beasties that once caused such harm to so many of their friends. It is an unsaid responsibility that the two friends took up once they heard the stories of the founders, OldOak and Hilda.

While Hilda and OldOak focused on rescue missions to help others the way they were once helped - to free as many as possible from the Beasties. Having trained for battle in their youth in a clan not too far away, Drake had heard of this new clan and of the atrocities that some of them have endured. They hardly knew what they were doing when at the same exact time, Tet and Drake were packing their belongings. Together they stood in front of their elders and requested to take up charge of defending and training this ragtag group. They were encouraged to bring the necessary safety to all that needed it.

Tet and Drake walked noisily through the forest as they approached so that there would be no surprises upon their arrival. The surprise was actually on Tet and Drake as they passed a narrow section on the trail they had found and Drake was hit on the back of his head at the same time a Guardian female jumped in front of Tet with all teeth and claws at the ready.

"Whoa, whoa! Is this Karma Clan?" Tet asked in a hoarse voice as Hilda held him by the neck. Drake spoke up, rubbing the knot on his head "We have come to offer assistance as we are advanced defenders against the Beast Clans for our previous clan, just one day's walk towards the tower." OldOak stepped around Drake, taking his measure. "You are welcome. Our clan is always in danger of the Beasties and Hilda there and myself, OldOak, can't defend everyone and make rescue attempts - we really need help. Would you be willing to help train those interested in the art of battle, both to stay here in our clan and also to send to defend LightWeaver?"

In one fluid motion both Tet and Drake bowed their heads to OldOak and Hilda. "Allow us to be your weapons, our claws and teeth are promised to protect all who find safety in our knew home, Karma Clan." "And old man, what did you hit me with? I've got a bump the size of a snapper egg!" OldOak stood tall, showing the cane was actually a great staff of petrified Sequoia, polished to show the beauty of the wood. "This is just something I found here in the forest and have been working on. Hehe Youngster go see Larentia, our clan healer of the body and spirit. She will fix you up. And dinner is being prepared so we will introduce you to all who claim sanctuary with Karma Clan. Welcome - you will make the great weapons to keep all safe. Thank you."
One evening, returning from a long day of patrol duty Tet had a dizzy spell. He didn't feel quite right. His partner in crime (patrol duty) Drake turned to ask his Ridgeback friend Tet a question but he didn't see him anywhere. He looked behind all the trees and rocks but did not find him. He was getting annoyed and the damn pesky Fae flying around his head did not help his mood. Tempted to splat the thing due to his foul mood, Drake instead caught it in his mouth. He wanted to know what the problem was with this jerk. Drake opened his mouth and rolled out his tongue. His tongue was suddenly pulled with such force that Drake let out a sharp yelp of pain. What in the world he thought. He had no idea a tiny Fae could have such strength. But this one was very, very strong. It hopped onto Drake's nose and shouted angrily at him. Only one dragon spoke such language (although quite monotone). It was Tet!! His partner Tet! How the heck did this happen? Tet grabbed Drake's beard and showed him a fairy circle. Ugh. Damn fairy circles.
