B I O G R A P H Y
Sacral was raised to be proud, to look down upon those who ridiculed him for the way he looks. He found power in his bones, and understood his own strength. His parents had raised him to be proud, to understand the affliction in him, not to shun it. "We are stronger than them, little one, and you are stronger than us," they would always say to him, "and your children will be stronger than you, soon my love, they will see we are better." They never aimed to take over, or to become superior, they always just wanted to be accepted. Understood. Yet they never were. Sacral met a small shy dragon on his travels, she was nervous around him and he was sure that his confidence scared her. She said her name was Fabella, and flinched when Sacral asked if it was after the bone. She had been recently cast out of her clan, and he took her in in an instant, his mother and father did not mind. She stayed with them, and soon lost her fear. She learned about the disease and they went to new places together to research it. He watched with pride as she grew with him and shocked her old clanmates. She was a strong one, Sacral knew he loved her. They did their research, and gained theories. He was excited for the day that he would lose his eyesight and test the theory that it was an unnecessary anchor to the physical realm. He and Fabella had risen to the top, and they would never come down. |
MATE : FABELLA FAMILIAR : CALARI
TRAITS:
▸ Family: Sacral is extremely proud of his family and his heritage. He is close to all members of his family and often organizes all the meetings between them. ▸ Relaxed: Sacral never follows or enforces anyone’s rules, he enjoys the chaos of having fun with others and being unrestrained. ▸ Ideas: Though he is smart, Sacral isn’t very creative and depends on others ideas. He then helps the dragon who originally came up with the idea to evolve it. |
_ EXTRA WRITING_ ____Sacral slunk along the ground slowly, His legs bent so much his stomach was almost touching the ground, his tail swished around periodically, always covering his weak spots. He moved so gently, so carefully, and made not one noise. Like a ghost in the trees, a skeleton of the forest. He had to struggle to keep his wings from twitching in agitation. This was it, everything he had worked towards for years, and he would not spoil it now. No guards noticed him, no scientists saw him. He was silent, a living shadow in their midst. If they had seen the way he moved, they would have deemed it scientifically impossible. But to a Marorek like Sacral, it was simple. His progress was agonizingly slow, but he plowed on. Corner upon corner turned, hallway upon hallway stalked. Until he came to the room. He could tell what it was because of the warning on the outside, it sickened him. "NO ENTRY WITHOUT A HAZMAT SUIT: POSSIBLE MAROREK INFECTION" Sacral hissed and stepped back, letting his composure break for a moment. His tail clacked loudly against the floor, at the noise, he was silent. Not a word, not a movement, not a sound. Sacral stayed still. When no one came, he moved forwards hesitantly, placing a claw on the door handle, and slowly opening it. It slid open without a creak, leave it to perfection Arcanists to keep everything too well oiled. With a smirk, he entered. And almost screamed in fury. ____Dragons, rows upon rows of pearlcatchers, snappers, ridgebacks, spirals, all species of dragon greeted him. So many dragons. Each one was a Marorek, all in various stages. They looked emaciated, skinny and small. Their claws shook even when they weren't doing anything, their heads seemed permanently bowed and the lights in their eyes permanently dulled. Many shied away as Sacral walked in. |

_EXTRA WRITING_ ____As he looked closer, he saw that many were missing bones or had some sort of marks on them. He finally let himself make noise. He spoke to them. "How could they do this to you...and chalk it up to science? No, there's no time to talk. All of you are leaving with me." At this, many decided to look up, and in noticing who he was, yanked viciously at their chains, some seemed to have been there so long that they barely moved their eyes to glance at Sacral, some seemed newer, their claws scrabbling with renewed vigor. He hushed them urgently, and released the one's he found most spry. ____Waves of relief came over the room as chains dropped, even the hopeless ones looked dumbfounded at their unrestrained ankles. Some needed some help, but they were free. And they were furious. They were all captured easily when walking by themselves, but together...they were a force. Sacral led his band of fury, and played his instrument of chaos. Screams came from the rooms and 'scientists' ran every which way in terrible fear of catching the 'disease'. Well to the Marorek, it was not a disease. It was a power. A force. A wave of strength to be feared by others. And they were free.. |
