B I O G R A P H Y

Born in a land of ice and snow, but leaving after he had grown, Kai is a dragon with a warrior's heart. He could have chosen to be anything but instead he chose to help those that could not help themselves, regardless of breed, gender, or flight. Many have thanked him, tried to repay him, but he always refused, just the simple knowing that they were safe was enough for him. As a result of his deeds he became very well known throughout the flights, many could recognize his face and feathers from nearly a mile away, but he didn't do what he did for the fame, he did it simply because he wanted to.

Even after contracting the disease that started to turn his one pristine hide, into nothing but tatters and bone, he still continued to do what he loved doing, though now he wears a mask and helm to hide his bony skinless face, and armour to try and keep whatever was left of his skin from catching and tearing even more than it already had, always trying to ignore the itch that would come up every so often as a result.
Though his wings are tattered, he can still fly with them, but he tries not to do so as much as he used to in fear that too much use would eventually result in them being unusable much sooner than later.

B I O G R A P H Y

He still helps those that can't help themselves, and though some still thank him, he now hardly says anything to them, many don't even thank him anymore, simply running away in fear of this tattered dragon before them, or some look in curiosity to try and get a glance under the mask to see the face of their savior, but he never lets them, always flying away before they get the chance to ask.

It took him a long time but he eventually found a home in the Tangled Wood, with a clan that accepts him for him, and not what he looks like. Though some stay wary of him, in fear of ending up with whatever he has, many smile and greet him, even stopping to have little chats with him, which made him feel good.
Kai was surprised when he found that he was not the only one in the clan with this ailment, which could have explained why most in the clan were so welcoming of him. One of these other afflicted dragons he soon found himself getting very close to, and who would soon become his life mate. She was a shaman, a spiritualist, and caretaker of both the living and the dead. He wasn't sure what drew him to her so much, perhaps the fact that they were both afflicted, or maybe it was her brown eyes that he found himself getting lost in every time he looked into them. Whatever the reason, he felt calm and happy in her presence.
