As the name of the accent implies, the text on his wings says 'Press start'.

He/They/It

His creator's eyes looked over his mechanical body. With a smile, she stated,
"I'll call you 'Echo,' as you evoke the idea of a Pearlcatcher in spite of your artificial framework."
"As you wish."

A robotic dragon created from the combination of a mechanical body made by Helix and the soul of a dead Pearlcatcher. Though Helix tells Echo that he was made to be her assistant, she has darker intentions. Since Echo has the soul of a real Pearlcatcher powering him, he can do anything a Pearlcatcher can do. Helix has convinced him to supply her with the nacre-like substance produced by Pearlcatchers to retain their memories, claiming that she uses it for research. In reality, however, she stores the substance in vials and sells it to Pearlcatchers (Or any dragon, she's not picky with who she profits from) who cannot produce the material themself for substantially high prices. She does not allow Echo to produce any of the substance for his own memories, resulting in his pearl remaining exactly the same as how it was with the now dead Pearlcatcher who formerly owned it. If Helix sees any sign of rebellion in Echo, she electrocutes him with her taser-like trident and causes him to temporarily shut down. For a while, he does not see anything wrong with what his creator does to him. As he begins to observe other dragons more, however, he learns of their culture and slowly begins to feel more and more like an outsider. The strange feeling of loneliness and yearning in his heart grows too strong, and he decides to relentlessly rebel no matter the costs. Would he be able to do it? Only time would tell.

(Spoiler alert; He does rebel against Helix, learning to fight by observing Coliseum fighters. He takes the trident that she uses to tase him and smashes it to pieces, then in a fit of rage ends up ending Helix's life. He is now recovering from the experience, feeling pangs of guilt that he's never felt before. How would he fit into dragon society if they knew he was a murderer? Would they understand? He feels as though he only isolated himself further through the act, but he is slowly but surely attempting to fit into dragon civilization. For now, however, the bitter loneliness he feels is unrelenting. On the bright side, he finally begins to add memories to his pearl for the first time after Helix's death, beginning to become his own person through the process. However, his pearl seems to be becoming bluer, almost as if he's only putting his depressing memories onto his pearl... Hopefully that will change.)

- As you may expect, he speaks very robotically a lot of the time. He occasionally tries to break this habit, but tends to fumble and not make as much sense.
- He doesn't have much of his own personality yet, but he's slowly beginning to show unique traits. He is hesitant and shy, but friendly after being approached. He is very honest and at times depressing, especially when speaking of what little memories he has. He is very proper and polite, but perhaps too much so. He still struggles with the concept of being casual. Still, he is highly determined and optimistic despite his rather sad past and way of thinking of himself. On a rare occasion, he is even playful. After all, he has not yet had much time to have fun in his life. He is genuinely curious about dragonkind, and despite his hesitancy to speak to 'real dragons', he does desire to gain friends (Or something more?) in the future.

When powered down (such as when he's sleeping), all of the glowing effects on him turn off. It would look like this:
