Biography

Son of Aureus and Pisces (Filintisia acted as a surrogate). He inherited Pisces belief in the law as the best way to keep society together, and Aureus love of the clan and the dragons in it. As a result, he became the clan's force for justice, learning the laws and enforcing them to the letter (and making new ones up where necessary). Eleos acts as more of a merciful side to the law, trying to keep to the spirit rather than to the letter of it.

While more than happy with his role in the clan, and grateful for Eleos' help, he always felt some nameless discomfort. It was easy to ignore, until a new spell was discovered by the scholars in the Observatory: a scroll that allowed a dragon to shift their body to resemble another sex. Seeing dragons around him transform themselves, the discomfort he'd felt all his life sharpened to crystal clarity. Never the type to mince words, he immediately told Eleos, who gently began to research possible routes.

Eris, no stranger to the desire to change one's body, agreed to fund some copies of the scrolls; after some saving, Viv was granted one.

Viv is a little bit of a hoarder. Not the crazy kind, but more so on the sentimental side. It's almost always small objects, a pocket watch, a gem, a feather, whatever it was, it always reminded him in some way of his clan or gave him a good dose of nostalgia. "It's just trinkets" is what he told himself whenever the pile kept growing. Now, years later, he has carefully created a space where all of his small treasures are on display and he has the purest smile whenever he eyes them from the other side of the room or when someone else mentions them to him.
