Biography
A brooding mountain dragon, the lone guardian of a particularly dangerous cave passage.
Fracture wards off explorers and travelers looking to reach the mountain pass that lies beyond his post. Barely any of the dragons who made it there ever returned, with the exception of a few local priests and shamans who visit regularly.
Fracture himself was one of those explorers once, but what he learned upon making it through the passage made him decide to stop others from doing the same. He initially meant to seal the cave entrance but this angered the local clans, so they made a compromise in which he would stand guard at all times. As a snapper he doesn’t need to sleep so there’s nary a chance to slip by unnoticed.
At times Fracture will ask Shard, an imperial who lives among the mountaintops, to take his place for a little while, so he can visit the clans in the valley and replenish his supplies.
