"Will you JUST hold still a second? I swear you'll feel better if you just stop doing that."

Unlike her brother Desert is a bit more.. pushy. She wishes to help those in need, even if they don't necessarily want it themselves. She's willing to get hands on, be a little rough if its for the better good of the patient. Besides, if she doesn't help they can't thank her late right?
That aside, once her patients calm down Desert is excellent at easing old wounds and breaks. She is highly proficient with physical therapy, strengthening and loosening damaged muscles and bones. She also dabbled in the art of acupuncture, and has since aided many a dragon with electrical stimuli without being a lightning dragon herself.

Desert left her paitent's room quietly, closing the door ever so softly as not to make a sound. Her claws barely scuffed the floor as she walked, eyes downcast at the medical records clutched in her palms. The second she left the medical ward there were questions. "How is he?" Daisy asked, the dragon who found him. "Is he stabilized, or awake?" Magdalene was quick to follow up; she had been tending the Fae with Desert and left when the strain grew too great.

The orange dragon nodded softly, a sigh escaping her tired maw. "He is stable," she breathed, still struggling to find the right words. "Whatever the poor thing has been through its been going on for a long time. Long-term fatigue and mistreatment take just as long to heal." The child had no fat reserves, no energy to even lift his head. His wings were in tatters, wounds marring his dull black scales. The medic could safely assume his short life had been nothing but a struggle.

"But we can treat that. We can heal his wounds and feed his body. Its something else that worries me." Deserts head fell low; she had never had to deal with something like this in her short time as a doctor. Maggie stepped in front of her, bearing the brunt of Daisy's anxious glances. "The child is.. different than us." The Coatl tapped her claws together. "I feel a presence within him, or... contacting him. The burden of it is too much for his current condition."

Desert nodded again. Having witnessed Maggie's seance she knew the hatchling's well-being was beyond her reach in multiple ways. "It's not just that- the jitteryness, the shakes, his pattern's perpetual movement. He was born with something, a genetic abnormality."

She paused, forcing herself to meet the brown Pearlcatcher's eyes. "And.. he's been shade-touched."

"We wont be able to cure him, but I'll be damned if we send him away like every one else."
