Personality Tanuki is a gentle giant, showing more concern for other than her self most of the time. Picking up smaller breeds, most of the time to their disdain just to hug those he seem to need it. Her compassion extends into her job as well, known to others for what they perceive as poor practice. Selling for cheap, trading or just giving away highly coveted items to those who would never be able to afford them. She's made the day of several individuals and holds a deep, sour distaste for those to hold money over decency. Having gotten into a quarrel more then once over the unfair practices of other salespeople. Despite this strong sense of caring for others, she herself doesn't have that compassion for her self. The type to cry when frustrated or angry, often blaming herself when she wasn't at fault or being unable to take to heart the compliments of others. Along with being generally bad at taking care of herself, putting most of her profits in other businesses or her own. Instead of spending a few bucks on newer, not so ratty clothes and appliances. On occasion even going without food, water or rest until reminded or nagged to do so. |

Backstory Tanuki was born and grew up in a poor family, but she wouldn't of had it any other way. It taught her what it meant to be appreciative of everything you had. When dinner was made, you'd eat all of it even if you didn't like it because you weren't certain of where your next meal would come from. She never took anything for granite and was generally upset when she would be picked on for her origins, her name or the fact she couldn't have all the modern trends. She wasn't mad at those who were better off, she was mad at the sheer audacity of their ignorance. Her parents always admired her way of thinking and hope that her views on material things never changed. It never did, instead it helped the young nogitsune find her joy in collecting nick knacks for herself. Trading/selling and giving away items was an interesting path for her to take all things considered. Tanuki didn't mind the irony, it was actually kind of funny. Being able to get better business due to not overpricing and enforcing fair trades and such. Success has really earned Tanuki her enemies, some spreading slander about her business practices or herself. Choosing a child's way out, instead of getting the hint to improve their ways. Some have the gall to harass her physically. An attempt to scare her off their market space no doubt, needless to say this imperial has never been afraid of a fight. Especially over something she's passionate about. Over a relatively short period of time, Tanuki has earned a respected reputation through her efforts. |
