Epi is known well as a heretic. After all, the soul dies with the body and the universe is eternal. He lives to attain a happy, tranquil life. He does this by helping other dragons realize that death isn't something to be feared. No, he is not a philosopher. He helps dragons with death in another way. Yeah, that way.

For the most part, Epi does as he wishes with little reprimand from the lair or the subclan. But sometimes he gets a little carried away and causes large problems that affect the Haema or the lair at large. More than once now, he has accidentally started a war with another clan. His dapper appearance occasionally lets him into unsuspecting lairs in the evenings. They often do not believe such a well-dressed dragon would cause havoc. After all, most Plague dragons wear the bones of their enemies. They do not typically realize that Epi's face is not his own, but the armor carved from the skull of his greatest foe, that fits perfectly over his own, like a mask. They believe he was simply blessed by the Plaguebringer with one of her many skin-melting diseases.
