Forgemaster
The forge is hot and will bite back if you do not treat it with respect. A hard lesson to learn but a necessary one. Though my wings have all but failed me, the strikes of my hammer remain true.


Sturdy and Sensible


Caldera arrived at the clan as a youngster with a fascination for shaping metal. An apprenticeship was arranged and she traveled South into the Ashfall Waste, where she at least learned the basics from a clan occupying the Emberglow Hearth. She advanced quickly, putting many native to the volcanic region to shame. She soon returned with a fire in her heart and the skills to back it up. She set up shop, and began producing some fine work for her clan.

In her short time as an apprentice she'd failed to see the nuances of a proper forge set up and in her brazen eagerness to get to work she'd made a rather heinous mistake. After pouring molten bronze into the caster, she turned her back to continue work on another project, her wing nicked the contraption, sending molten bronze cascading across her wings and back. She screamed and thrashed, the pain was unbearable. She had to be dragged out of her forge and doused with water. But the damage had already been done. It took her nearly a full year to heal completely but it was obvious she would never regain the full use of her wings.

The incident didn't dampen her passion though, and when the clan moved to a more ideal location, she took up residence in the underbelly of the vast subterranean structure and works with her mate Aquifer to create even more beautiful and intricate pieces.




Notable Skills:
Blacksmith: Probably one of the most accomplished ones in all of Dragonhome. She's had a lot of practice and has honed her skill to match even those native or originating to The Ashfall Waste. She can create just about anything given the right materials and enough time.
Weaponry: Alongside making armor she's got a knack for weapons as well which includes the ability to wield just about anything and do a fair amount of damage with it. If not for her inability to fly (and her value to the clan) she would surely make her presence on any battlefield felt.
Singing:Not really. But she tries. And it is quite the haunting tune she can produce when keeping time with hammer strikes.
