History xxEven as a young Dragonet, Emrys loved to bring joy to others. He enjoyed taking care of others, and often volunteered to watch the familiars of clan members while they were away. As he grew, he started watching hatchlings for family friends within the clans while their parents were out hunting, or exploring, or attending incredibly boring clan meetings. xxOnce he reached adulthood, and finally got to choose his place in the clan, he leaped at the opportunity to watch over the hatchery and the hatchlings within. His life was planned out carefully before him. He knew what to expect every day, and what each and every turn held. xxUntil he met Rabbit that is… xxThe somewhat grouchy Imperial was much larger than him, despite the fact Emrys is older. Emrys was thrilled when the Imperial, who he soon learned is named Rabbit, agreed to read to the hatchlings. It became somewhat of a tradition. One of the hatchlings would race up the hill and let Rabbit know they were about to settle in for their afternoon naps. Rabbit would gather his things and head down. Then he would let them pick a story out. xxEmrys caught himself unable to answer the inevitable “What did you think of the book?” question that Rabbit always seemed to ask. He realized he hardly remembered the story. He was far too invested in just listening to Rabbit's voice. He didn’t think it was possible to hear someone without well…hearing them. He didn’t care what the story was. He was just listening to Rabbit’s voice, which compared to his was scratchy. xxThere was something comforting about Rabbit's voice, more than once he had drifted right off to sleep during this story time, of course Rabbit would just leave quietly once the story was over to let him sleep. |

Age // 89 -- Birthday // april 27th Occupation // caretaker of the clan's hatchlings Role // teacher and caretaker Personality // one of the main caretakers of the hatchlings, the children love his sweet and gentle energy. he absolutely loves hiking and observing the little details of the landscapes around him. there's an inside joke within the clan that emrys is one of those unnaturally pretty dragons that always seem to have the wind blowing through their fur. it's not entirely clear if emrys knows about it but there's a betting pool on it. mated with rabbit and has an adopted son called adonis. -- Likes // outdoors, children, singing -- Dislikes // thunder storms Familiar // MIKO -- Role of familiar // miko got lost trying to deliver a message from the icewarden and was found by emrys. she loves burrowing into the flower garlands on emrys' wings and jumping out at hatchlings to make them giggle. |
