Seth

It was bittersweet when Seth's mother and father watched over their first clutch as a mated pair. Her father was a regal Wildclaw, respected and loved throughout his clan. Every ounce of power he had went into keeping his new mate safe within the community. However, the curse was not something one hid easily from others. Seth's cyan marks etch brightly across her slender frame just like her mother. One could only imagine the struggles that the pair went through to keep their station.

So when the three eggs vibrated with the struggling hatchlings, the mother and father held their breath for what probably felt like ages. When Seth emerged from her egg breathing her first breaths of life, both mother and father were already shedding tears for their children.

The curse is not a disease or a ailment but a brand passed down by blood to remind all of the greatest treachery known to dragon kind. Not only does the curse come with the physical reminder but also manifests into an ill omen that varies from dragon to dragon. Some cursed have to worry about items disappearing within their vicinity while others are heralds of natural disasters, decimating entire lands in their wake. So when all three hatchlings sported crackled markings across their small forms the parents knew that there would be no acceptance for their children within the clan.

Frantically Mother and Father stole away their children in the night. To this day Seth wonders what plans her parents had for her and her siblings. However there were other dragons within the shadowy clan who had different plans for the family that night.

Seth's memories are unclear about the events that transpired that evening. Normally dragons have an impeccable memory after birth however the brutal fight that transpired between the fleeing parents and the shadow warriors were too much for the small hatchling. She does remember her battered mother placing her and her siblings in a basket. Tears streaming down her face and saying her goodbyes as she placed the basket into the water bordering the Tangled Wood. Watching their Mother dash off to fight, the young cursed cried as they were at the mercy of the Sea of a Thousand Currents.

The Tidelord must have took pity on them as the waters carried them swiftly to the shores of the Scarred Wasteland. Swiftly is a relative term to that of a hungry hatchling. After the hatchlings constantly voiced their hunger for many days and nights Seth could barely croak as strong arms lifted the basket from the waters and a foul stench emitted from their rescuers maw.
