 This Coatl was born in the Frozen Realm. You're up for a challenge? Because this is Noctis. A totally cute boy, right? That's because he can behave around his parents, but when nobody is watching the little trickster is playing one prank after the other. To make chaos even bigger is his job ... But at least it is kinda fun to have him around. If he only would use his enorm intelligence in any better way. He could be so much more! He had a hard time when he arrived at Marxes' Lair. All dragons were friendly, kind and very good to him but he was just interested in playing pranks and causing trouble. That soon changed though because Caius, the chaos magician and guardian of the lair, saw true potential in Noctis. His intelligence as well as his mischievous nature opened him the path to be accepted in Caius' ranks - as a chaotic magician/guardian. Noctis did not pay attention to the older dragon ** first, until he saw what he was about to learn and maybe even control all by himself. The ability to use powerful magic that can control others and wreak havoc across the realms. The Coatl had plans to leave the clan once he learned everything necessary to control such power but soon realised, that Caius knew what he was up to. The older dragons' punishment was no joke and very serious. Once again, Caius had to explain why he chose to teach Noctis and take him in under his wings and that Noctis should not use this power for a bad cause. Soon, the little Coatl knew what his teacher meant and started to behave and stopped playing pranks as well as causing any trouble. The other clan members saw that Noctis' behaviour changed and began to like him - he wasn't a bad guy after all. He and Caius are now the so-called "Chaos Guardians" of the clan and serve Marxes in order to actually protect the clan. This "Chaos Magic" could cause a lot of trouble but in the right claws, it can also keep everyone save from the chaos beasts or other kinds of magic. Noctis loves the fact that he can use his new powers to impress and protect others as well as keeping his clan members safe and be a merciless opponent to his enemies. Though, he still plays pranks from time to time and laughs them off with the "pranked" later. This causes Caius to always roll his eyes or shake his head... "At least, his pranks aren't that frequent and can be used to distract our enemies on the battlefields" Caius always says about his little apprentice. |
