Morrigan

The Morrigan is a mysterious creature; the flight woke up to her perched calmly outside of their lair, wings flared like a harbinger of some terrible disaster. They blocked out the sun.

She never talks, she never interacts with any other dragon. She just sits. She watches. She considers.

Her eyes, in the dark, are very very red.

(Where the Morrigan came from, what birthed her, whether she has a name...all these things are uncertain. Both Katherine and Tlaloc claim to have spoken with her -- although Tlaloc says so with a raspy laugh that says she's certainly lying -- and claim that she's here as a protector, of sorts.

That may be true. What is true is that there are plenty of dead things in the woods, eyes pecked out by beaks. What is true is that no one in the clan eats corvid-meat. What is true is that there's always enough to eat, around the ruins, and none of the hatchlings are ever lost, and no rivals ever get close enough to the ruins to attack.

Where the Morrigan came from is uncertain. What is certain is this: she is here to stay.)
