Pimennys, just called Mennys by many around her, has the most spectacularly horrible memory even among Tundras. This is not at all helped by her very poor, almost nonexistent, sense of smell caused by a small deformity in her nose. She is very sweet and child like in nature with no bitterness towards anyone. Pimennys doesn't recognize anyone in the lair and often wanders about, unable to figure out where she is. Most of the other dragons in the lair are very kind to her and make sure she doesn't get herself lost or hurt.

Valjeta, a graceful Skydancer, initially pitied Pimennys for her near helplessness and kept an eye on her so he could protect her. But, as time passed, he came to admire how kind and friendly she was despite her continual dream-like wandering. He gave her a rose necklace and himself began to carry a red rose with him in attempt to give her mind something to recognize him with. Shortly afterwards, Pimennys began carrying one as well though it's often vague to her as to exactly why. On the occasions that the reminder works, Pimennys has great affection for Valjeta and has, multiple times, declared him her mate.

Pimennys and Valjeta have had one clutch of eggs. The process was extremely stressful for Valjeta and the three hatchlings because Pimennys kept forgetting they were her eggs and she would wander off leaving Valjeta torn between protecting her and watching the eggs. Marja, Sirpale, and Kukka never grew to resent their mother for her absence and forgetfulness but they were uncomfortable being around her so they left to serve the Tidelord.
