A ranger of a carefree disposition. Very laid back and relaxed. His easy going attitude belies a keen mind, Aurex is an effective trickster. He’s generally good natured but not above using underhanded ways to attain his goals. He's befriended Zatras and travels together with her.

Zatras may think that Aurex believes her to be an experienced wanderer, but the mirror sees straight through her facade. He hasn't told her and plays along, hoping this will boost her confidence. In actuality he doesn't care how skilled she is, but he knows that she'll come to him with her 'secret' when she trusts him enough.
