mosca came from a clan of cultists where she was forced to have eggs against her will. the clan leader told her it was to make the clan stronger and that it's unnatural and shameful for healthy dragons to not procreate. she eventually ran away despite her fears and was clanless for years. she began practicing magic, so that she would know spells to defend herself, since being without the protection of a clan is dangerous. eventually she became skilled enough at magic that she began offering herself as a mercenary to those who needed a mage's help. she had money for the first time in a long time and was happy, if not a bit lonely. upon joining astraea and solaris's coliseum party, she felt a companionship with them that she had been missing for so long, and decided to join their clan. surviving on her own has given her wisdom and resilience uncommon for her age, and despite all she's suffered she has quite the optimistic and sunny disposition. She came up with the team name of "The Gravedancers", which her teammates refuse to use.

solaris, she loves to gently tease and get him to not be so sour. she tries to show him her full acceptance of his disfigurement by being physically affectionate with him often.

astraea is her confidant and the dragon she feels she can be vulnerable around. more than a few nights she's spent curled in astraea's embrace, crying after a nightmare.
