Biography
Ynnir came to this clan as a hatchling and took a particular shine to Meleine. Everyone just kind of went with it with a shrug. I mean, how much trouble can one bitty hatchling be?
Some time later, Ynnir grew to the massive size that Guardians are known for.
.
.
.
Even as a hatchling, Ynnir thought himself a little different from his peers. While his siblings had been content with play and listening to stories, he'd always felt incomplete-- as though he had a great Yearning for something more. When he had fresh come into adolescence, he and his siblings were shepherded together into the lair for their evening tales as always--
--and the adults began to speak of something they called 'The Search'. In low tones, they spoke of treacherous journeys over melting stone, through clinging jungle and singing wasteland. They spoke of sacred places and treasured people. They spoke of dedication and a care that defied all logic. The Search, they said, were all these things and more.
The tales left Ynnir feeling awakened. This was the answer to that yawning emptiness he'd always felt; he was sure of it! He could not languish here a moment longer. He waited just long enough for everyone else to fall asleep and then, abuzz with glorious purpose, set out on his very own Search.
