Ophanim

the trickster queen.

those entering the deepwoods are almost sure to eventually run into ophanim. some days she'll flit from place to place, wreaking (minor) havoc and socializing with anyone she can find, while on other days she spends her time napping lazily in any spot of sun she comes across. despite her somewhat hyperactive attitude, she does hold a fair amount of power in the deepwoods. if you can't find the ruler - which you very often can't - you go to ophanim, and she does treat her responsibilities with a good amount of seriousness.

ophanim is enchanted by songs, and taught herself a more melodic way of humming so as to better imitate the way other dragons sing. those who have spent time among other coatls agree that her vocalizations are much more pleasant to listen to than most. her favorite dragon to torment is her mate, eurydice, who doesn't mind her frequent pranks and odd whims.

while she enjoys chatter, the one thing ophanim refuses to talk about is her past.
