Velare went clan searching after her last living relative in her large Skydancer clan passed away because she felt her calling was elsewhere and she had no greater purpose in her original home. After searching for weeks she finally came across the Viridian Labyrinth where she met a green mirror dragon named Jade who needed help starting up her brand new clan. Shortly afterwards she was quickly recognized for her smarts and sweet personality and was quickly made the leader.

A kind but fare dragon Velare takes her job seriously. The clan looks up to her for guidance and often bring their disagreements and problems to her, although she helps willingly it is incredibly taxing to mediate the clan all day. However she doesn’t do it alone, with the support and love of her mate Orion she finds her job a lot less difficult with his help.

Velare’s pet Willowmane Deerling was a gift from Orion when he noticed how stressed out she was from leading the clan. Marsh stays right by Velare’s side throughout the day but isn’t super intelligent acting more or less like a glorified goat. Velare loves Marsh anyway and often dresses her up or prepares special foods for her.
