LUCY
Assistant Archeologist | easily amazed | curious | traditional

mate: Calihan

Lucy was found buried deep beneath the earth of Dragonhome by a team of young archeologist. No one on the team had ever seen something quite like her before. It was a spectacular miracle to find a full skeleton nowadays, and in such great condition as well. The archeologists took their new findings to a laboratory in the neighboring Arcane region, where Lucy's bones were diligently studied for many months. It turns out her skeleton dates back hundreds of years, lining up with some of the earliest dragon bones found thus far.

There were still many tests to be done, when the unthinkable happened. Lucy began to move. It was slight movements at first, just a claw seeming to twitch in the corner of your eye. However, once assembled back together, a rough shaking occurred that knocked everyone off their feet and when they looked back up again, Lucy was looking at them in return.

It turned out that Lucy's last resting place had actually been located on a ley line. As she lay sleeping there for all those years, the energy soaked into her bones, waiting to be awakened once again. The question of what should be done with Lucy hung in the air for many weeks. She seemed to feel and think, much like the dragons around her, but she was nothing more than bones. The workers could see mater of factly that she had no heart or brain, but they couldn't deny that she seemed to have a spirit.

Most of the laboratory workers wanted to keep her locked away, and continue to run tests on her. However, one of the archeologist, a young dragon named Calihan, refused to allow that, arguing that she didn't deserve to be an anomaly gawked at and tested. He rallied his fellow archeologist, and since they technically still owned Lucy's bones, they had the right to take her away. Lucy now lives with Calihan and his tribe, working as his assistant and giving him insight into the past he so desires to figure out.
